You can add images from external server. Simply add the full external path for that image in custom field.

go to your wp-admin and select configure theme under Appearance. Enter your feedburner id into feedburner box.
After this you are able to see feedburner counter image.

I am trying to setup the 5 colorful tabs according to the instructions. When I go to configure the “fashion peal options” the drop-down menus for Quick Tabs 1-5 do not get populated with my categories – so I cannot choose any values. Samwe goes for Fashion Tips setting – no values in the drop-down.
Also, on the home page, most of the lower sections do not appear: Sponsors, Advertisement, Top Commentators, Recent Comments, categories, Archives, Blogroll, etc.

Hi. I am on WP 2.8 and can’t get the breadcrumb plug ins to work. When I go to ‘configure theme’ the drop down menus aren’t populated.
Am I correct to think that I can edit the CSS file with the category IDs that I want to display in the Fashion Tips and Colored Boxes sections? Could you let us know where in the code to place the IDs?

Thanks! That worked partly. However I still have the following issues:
the posts from the FashionTips category are not appearing in that area of the site.
Also, in the coloured area only one box is showing.
For the slideshow is there a way to ONLY show images which have a banner image?

Ok, I fixed my issues. In case anyone else has the same problems, here’s a few tips:
- Your category name MUST match the slug exactly.
- You can choose which category is displayed in the slider by adding category_name=about& before showposts= on line 41 in slide.php (I created a specific category for my articles with banners, so I don’t have to add a banner image for every article I add to the site in general)
I also changed a lot of the colours on the template to make it look unique and swapped out the background.

Ever since I changed to this new theme I can’t get my Google Adsense to work. I put my # in the form set up and the ads appear but when I check my adsense stats it shows “no data” I know these pages have at least been seen several hundred times according to Analytic. Please help??? Do I need to put my ad sense # anywhere else in the code??? Oh… I also took out my subdomain and shortened it to celebritydress4less.com instead of celebritydress4less.com/blog2… Do I need to open a new account for them to show? UHHHHHGGGG!

I want in other pages this themes insert big (horizontal)logo in header area position up tabs_images and and down header menu. Example, see in this diskussion images themes UP. Änd if people go to pages this big images rotating in flash rotator or NextGen Gallery plugin rotate this header image.

recently i have upgraded to 2.8 version of wordpress. is these plugins for fashion peal are compatable for 2.8 version. because i am getting error while activating these plugin – “Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class bcn_breadcrumb in /home/wwwmaac/public_html/wp-content/plugins/breadcrumb-navxt/breadcrumb_navxt_class.php on line 28″
Beautiful template, but ran into problems making changes to the headlines, color boxes, etc. Running into a lot of bugs similar to previous posts. The fashion peal user guide was helpful (thanks!) but didn’t work for everything and it was limited in scope.
Not sure if I should go with another theme or keep working on this…can you look at my site and let me know if it’s an easy fix? thanks for all you do!
I tried to do many of the changes per the post (to remove adsense/sponsors) but it’s still on my site. Also the categories still did not show up when configuring the theme, so I just deleted the colored boxes altogether.
Any suggestions on which plugins is best to be able to get a “contact me” (where they can put their email/contact info and ask a question), as well as using Paypal on the site to place orders? Your support is appreciated!

With the slider. It looks like its pulling the last ten articles vs articles with a banner_image custom field. Is there away to set this to pull JUST the articles that have a banner_image?
One last question (for now!) — I was unsuccessful at replacing the logo.gif, featurednews.gif, and mostpopular.gif titles. I”m not sure why it’s not working. Any ideas? Thanks again for all you do!

Make sure you have downloaded the most recent version. Go to your Admin -> Appearance -> Configure Theme and change the Tabs Setting (1 to 5), You will be able to see the most recent post from the selected category.

i already try to fix in configure theme, but the only text there is a select category…no more my category and that why i cannot choose which one per box.
Please download the WP v2.8-beta 2 if you are using WP v2.8. This is WP v2.8 bug.
love the theme, been customizing it. i’m a bit confused by the layout, however. how can i edit the footer (containing recent posts, tag cloud, etc.)? i’d like to replace the tag cloud with wp cumulus and move a few things around, but the footer.php file is of no help. it’s quite different from the themes i’m accustomed to and i can’t seem to find an easy answer to this.

Download the latest pack of FashionPeal and Go to your themes folder. You will see logo psd + font containing some Photoshop psds edit and export it into images folder.
WTF??? I just posted an “Artist Statement” page (the first time I added a page instead of a post), and suddenly EVERY BIT OF TEXT on the entire site was zapped with a “strike through” line!
Is that a bug, or a cyber-attack by North Korea?

How do I fix this problem????
My cache file permissions are set to 777 (readable/writable) but the thumb images are still not showing on my site. They are only showing in the slider image.
I have images set in banner_image, tabs_image, & featured image and the only image showing up is the banner_image.
Please let me know how to fix this problem.

Hi! Just a couple of quick questions about the featured articles area:
1 – all of my dates appear the same for all articles. Can I just remove the date? Could you tell me where it is? e.g. stylesheet.css or functions.php?
2 – I would like to make the font size of the Featured article Title smaller so that I can show the whole heading. At the moment, I have increased the character length of the line, but if it goes onto two lines it breaks the template layout. Thanks!

it is me again..i still having problem with the image that didnt shown in the post also in the featured news….i follow step by step the instruction but only slider image shown the image and the rest didnt show any images…example :

Everything is working fine at your site. Use tab_image for the tab images (colorful area).
I have downloaded the “Theme Manual File” but don’t know how to open it. Do I need additional program to open the file.

Great theme! I had to work around some problems with it though but overall, it’s giving me what I want now. =)
Just have one problem. The date under the “Featured News” section always displays the current date for all the posts (same goes for the alt text of the image thumbnail in that section. I have removed the date on my site because I couldn’t find a way to fix it, but have you worked this out already? I am using the latest versions of wordpress and fashionpeal and have installed both pagenav and breadcrumbs plugin.
